I was born and raised in the city of Jacarandas and am currently on route to become a Charted Accountant at the University of Pretoria. 19 years ago, I was blessed with both Greek and Cypriot blood and have grown up with a strong Greek heritage.
I have looked up to the Miss Hellene title holders for many years and it was what the pageant stood for that drew me to enter. Not only does Miss Hellene aim to raise funds for different initiatives, but I believe that it is her duty to bring about a sense of togetherness within a community and guide the youth to follow in her footsteps.
Something many people don’t know about me is that I’m a Greek dancing teacher for children between the ages of 5 and 16. This is another platform in which I show my passion of bringing the Hellenic youth of South Africa together and to ensure that they have the opportunity to gain from Hellenism in the same way I did.
There are two sayings which I try to live by, the first being, “I aspire to inspire before I expire” and the second, “If your dreams don’t scare you, they’re not big enough.”
